ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY
Endoscopic service presents colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy.
Colonoscopy is an endoscopic examination of the large intestine and is indicated for the following: diagnosis of various intestinal problems, from abdominal pain to rectal bleeding, diagnosis of chronic intestinal diseases, detection of polyps growing from the mucous membrane of the large intestine, removal, diagnosis of colorectal cancer.
Under adequate anesthesia, colonoscopy is a painless surgical procedure.
Esophagogastroscopy is used to look closely at the lining of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum, or to diagnose suspected tumors or internal bleeding.
EGDS is also considered as an additional examination to make a differential diagnosis to rule out SAT diseases (allergy, neurosis).
EGS should be performed if there are complaints of discomfort, heaviness, pain in the pelvis, burning sensation associated with eating.
Esophagogastroscopy is a key examination for the following diseases:
